Not all bookings include a free car - this must be included in your reservation when you book with the room type - ie. 1 Bedroom Apartment with Free CAR. The details of the car package are below and are subject to availability.

The conditions of use are as follows:-
Only guests over 20 yrs old and listed with the booking are able to drive the vehicle. Those with prior convictions need to advise us for insurance purposes. Must be in possession of a full open license.
The vehicle must not be driven on average more than 100kms per day, and cannot be driven on any dirt roads, however you may drive to Litchfield and return during your stay.
The vehicle is housed in the apartments own designated carpark and you must make your own way to the apartment in order to collect the vehicle. We will not be offering an airport pick up service.
The vehicle must be returned full of fuel and cleaned down ready for the next guests. A Car Wash House is located in Stuart Park and you will need $5 - $8 in coins to do this. For wash and vaccum.
Any journeys past Palmerston must be first notified with us.
Standard insurance excesses apply.

Payment Policy
BOOKINGS ARE CONFIRMED ONLY ONCE THE NOMINATED DEPOSIT IS RECEIVED

This booking is confirmed subject to receipt of 50% deposit PAID VIA VISA OR MASTERCARD on this booking system , and the balance payable 14 days prior to your arrival.

The balance, can be paid by any of the following methods. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR BOOKING NUMBER AND SURNAME AS A REFERENCE so we know who the payment was from:

  • Electronic Funds Transfer/Internet Banking - Payments can be made to Bank SA (A division of St George) Account Name Darwin Executive Suites, BSB 105182, Account Number 031 784 240,
    Reference YOUR SURNAME.
  • Credit Card Payment - 14 days prior to your arrival your nominated credit card (2% charge applies for VISA/MASTERCARD or 2% for AMEX) will be debited with the final balance owing UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US OTHERWISE. Please ensure adequate funds are available otherwise a fee of $30 will
    apply.
  • Please note payments by cash and cheque are not accepted
SECURITY BOND - All bookings are subject to a $500 security bond 1 or 2 Bedroom and $1000 security bond on 3 Bedroom apartments. This is reserved against your credit card from the date of arrival until 48 hours after your departure. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any costs we have incurred if guests have failed to observe our term and conditions of occupancy.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy - as of 1 November 2020
- the 50% booking deposit paid is non - refundable.
- Cancellation if greater than 14 days prior to arrival - the 50% deposit is forfeited and non-refundable.
- Cancellation within 14 days of arrival and once arrival commenced: the full booking value is forfeited and non-refundable.

* Availability: The owner will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. Booking is not confirmed until after 24 hours of payment has been received in our bank account.

COVID 19 - Cancellation policy - please read before you make a booking with us or any 3rd party supplier...

We understand we are faced with uncertain times since April 2020 and everyone should be fully aware of cancelling a booking causes extreme distress to all parties, and to date extreme losses to us as a family business. To that end, we make our policies for cancellations and refunds very clear per terms and conditions set at the date of booking. From 30 June 2021, our strict cancellation policy will apply regarding Coronavirus lockdowns - please see updated policy below. We recommend not booking unless you are absolutely certain of your dates as there is A STRICT no refunds policy if your travel plans need to change. Self insurance is highly recommended – that is where you assume the full risk of not being able to come and cover those costs.

SELF INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

CANCELLATION POLICY – IN RELATION TO YOUR AREA BEING DESIGNATED A “HOTSPOT”  AFTER YOU HAVE MADE YOUR BOOKING:

Please check the situation where you live and in the Northern Territory prior to booking. If unsure, we advise you to not book until closer to your date of arrival (as this is the safest thing to do) when it is safe to travel to Darwin and return. However, if either your place of residence or Darwin is officially stated to be a COVID hotspot with government restrictions in place after you book . (This means on official Government websites related to COVID only).

* If your booking is due to arrive in more than 14 days, you may cancel your booking, however there is a 25% cancellation fee.
* If your booking is due to arrive in less than 14 days and greater than 72 hours, you may cancel your booking, however there is a 50% cancellation fee.
* If your booking is due to arrive in less than 72 hours, No Shows, those already checked into accommodation who wish to cancel – a STRICT no refund policy applies.
* If you have paid more than the cancellation fees, we will refund the balance less any credit card fees. Please allow up to 2 weeks for this refund to be processed.
* No further credit travel vouchers will be issued.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions:

• Lead Guest of each apartment booking must be over 25 years of age (there is no exceptions). Each apartment only permits a total number of persons to stay (Adults + Child + Infants = maximum permitted). Infant ages are 0 - 1 years old, Child 1 year to 16 years. Adults are considered over 16 years.
• (IMPORTANT!) Loss of key and fob/carpark buzzer will incur a minimum $192 charge for replacement. Please advise immediately when key and buzzer are lost or misplaced. Please also ensure you always take the keys with you when leaving the apartment as you will need them to get back in.
• Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
• Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
• Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional charges.
• Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival.
• Check-out time is 10:00am
• Dishes should be cleaned and rubbish removed to the bin chute or garbage room in the underground basement. The lead guest is obliged to compensate for any damage or loss occurring in the accommodation due to his own fault or the fault of accompanying persons. Please note that there is no need to clean bed linen or towels as these will be professionally laundered.
• Keys must be returned to our showroom on departure by 10am unless otherwise agreed
• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
• Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.
• Strictly - No smoking is allowed in the building
• If any smoking is made on the premises a up to $500 fine will be charged to the guest
• Pets are NOT allowed under any circumstances (except where the property expressly states that pets are welcome). An additional cleaning fee will be charged if pets have been found to be on or in the property.
• Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing
