Downstairs are three beautiful bedrooms, all with wardrobes. Two are king rooms, each with a flat-screen TV and en suite bathroom (each with shower, toilet and handbasin). There is also a queen room, which is located directly opposite the main bathroom.

The main bathroom is spacious, with shower, handbasin and a huge bath to soak in... perfect after a long day on the slopes or out in the wilderness. There is also a separate toilet.

Upstairs you’ll find an amazing kid’s space! Two sets of single bunks, a king single bed and a trundle bed.... up to 6 can sleep up here! They will be well entertained with the 60" flat-screen TV and DVD player and small selection of DVDs & toys, as well as a couple of comfy bean bags for chilling out. A portacot is available on site for any wee ones.

Tractor Shed is a stunning 4-bedroom luxury retreat, located in the Cairns Subdivision in Lake Tekapo. For those who love the outdoors, hunting, skiing, tramping and the like, you will feel right at home!

On entry into this barn-style home, you are greeted with quintessential Mackenzie grandeur!

Exposed natural wood throughout, natural and tasteful color scheme and decor, modern and clean lines, stags head on the wall and the feature deer-antler chandelier.

The spacious kitchen is fully-equipped with all modern and industrial sized appliances. There is plenty of counter space for meal prep and a separate wine cellar fridge for a glass at the perfect temperature!

There is a large dining table alongside the toasty log burner, and a comfortable sitting area with leather couches and 60" wall-mounted flat screen TV, which offers SKY for movies and sporting shows. Free and unlimited WIFI is also available.

As well as the log burner, there is a heat pump/AC unit and underfloor heating, so you will be cozy and warm during the cold winter months.

Property Facilities

The main bathroom is spacious, with shower, handbasin and a huge bath to soak in... perfect after a long day on the slopes or out in the wilderness. There is also a separate toilet.

There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

This home offers a BBQ and a north-westerly facing outdoor area which will display the afternoon and evening sun in the summer months.

No doubt any younger travelers will enjoy taking the big red tractor (the namesake for the property, parked out front) for an imaginary spin around the block!

Located on a rear section, this home offers luxury and privacy, with partial mountain views.

Payment Policy

Your credit card details are required to secure your booking.
We require full payment on or prior to check in via bank deposit, credit card, EFTPOS or cash.
All credit card transactions incur a 2.5% surcharge.
If payment is received before your day of arrival, we will send self check in details and you can go directly to the property.
Book Tekapo Holiday Homes reserve the right to cancel a reservation/re-book a home should credit card details not be given.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations or alterations made within 7 days of your booking will incur a fee in full for your stay. All no-shows will be charged the full amount as booked. No refund is given if you decide to leave a day early or a guest has dropped out at the last minute.
If the country or regions are in Covid 19 Alert Level 4 or 3 and domestic travel is not allowed, we allow free cancellation up to the date of your reservation.

All bookings are subject to cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances including the sale of the property, long-term letting or other events outside Book Tekapo Holiday Homes control. If your booking is cancelled we will endeavor to book you into an equivalent home, however Book Tekapo Holiday Homes takes no responsibility if this is not possible. Any existing deposit may be either put towards a new booking or refunded in full.

Child Policy

Book Tekapo Holiday Homes allow children in all of our holiday homes. Our homes are not fully fenced, and have various hazards (such as bunk beds). Parents remain fully responsible for their children during their stay.

Check In Policy

Check in is from 3pm-6pm. Our office hours may vary during winter due to the weather conditions, and are longer in the summer months.
To make payment on the day of your arrival and to receive check-in information, please come to our office at 4 Simpson Lane, Lake Tekapo.
For guests who have made prepayment, we will send self check-in details the day before arrival. There is a lockbox at the property.

Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.
If you have made a booking within 12 hours of arrival, please contact us on either 027 483 3593 or 027 3090196 to confirm we are expecting you.
