Purpose Built lodges within the grounds of the grade 2 listed Big Lamp Brewery and Keelman Inn. Situated on the edge of the Tyne Riverside Country Park.

Property Facilities

Wifi is available for Guests in The Keelman Pub opposite the accommodation. We have a children’s play area close to both Salmon Cottage and The Keelman’s Lodge. All meals may be taken in The Keelman Pub and Restaurant, a Grade II listed building opposite the accommodation. Real Ale is also brewed and served on site at the Big Lamp Brewery. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all rooms.

General Room Facilities

All rooms have en-suite facilities in the form of a Bath with overhead shower. Standard in all rooms are LCD digital colour TV, a small coffee table with two chairs and a dressing table with mirror (which can also be used as a desk).

Car Parking

All rooms have designated free parking spaces. There are plenty of parking spaces outside the Lodge on a tarmac driveway and disabled parking bays for three vehicles. The disabled parking bays are in short proximity to Keelman’s Lodge. There is ample room for getting out of and into a vehicle. There is a dropped kerb for easy access.

Secure Bicycle parking is available for Guests.

Location / Distances

The Keelmans Lodge is situated on the edge of the Tyne Riverside Country Park. Nearby attractions include Hadrians Wall, Prudhoe Castle and George Stephensons Cottage. There are a range of near by activities to enjoy including Walks and Hikes, Fishing, Golfing, Boating and Mountain Biking. There is also a leisure centre very close by.
