We have 16 units set in very private and spacious grounds. Only 3 minutes drive to Upper Hutt City, 15 minutes from Lower Hutt and 25 minutes from Wellington City and interisland Ferry Terminals.
Our unique native bush setting and clean and comfortable facilities make for a pleasant stay. We were awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in October 2017.
Property Facilities
Guest laundry provided. Very quiet and situated well away from the street which makes it very safe for children to play outside.
General Room Facilities
All rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding bush and gardens. All have microwaves, tea, coffee and basic breakfast making facilities and 4 rooms have hot plates and an electric frying pan.
Car Parking
On-site car parking with plenty of additional parks if you are travelling in more than one vehicle. There are also facilities for boats, trailers and small trucks.

Directions to Property
Follow SH2 to the lights at Wallaceville turnoff. Enter Whakatiki Street from the lights and drive to end of street. Go right at the roundabout and then left at next roundabout into Ward Street. Then drive to end of street and turn left and then a quick right up Wallaceville Road. We are a short drive up the hill on the left.
Additional Information
Walking distance to Wallaceville Train station where you can park and take the train to Wellington or Lower. We are ideally positioned as an interisland ferry stopover if you are travelling on SH2.
Payment Policy
A valid credit card may be required to secure direct reservations.
The property reserves the right to process payment using the provided credit card once the free cancellation period has passed.
Any refund, where applicable, will be processed via the original payment method used for the reservation.
Any waiver, refund, or credit issued outside the stated policy is provided at the discretion of management.
Any reduction in the length of stay after check-in may still be charged for the original reserved dates.
Group bookings (4 or more rooms) are subject to separate deposit, payment, and cancellation terms provided at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
For stays between 1 April and 31 August, cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to arrival to avoid charges.
For stays between 1 September and 31 March, as well as public holidays and special event periods, cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to arrival to avoid charges.
Reservations cancelled outside the applicable cancellation period, as well as no-shows, may be charged up to the full accommodation amount.
The property reserves the right to apply minimum stay requirements during peak seasons, public holidays, and special events.
Child Policy
Children of all ages are welcome.
Please ensure children are supervised at all times while on the property.
Check In Policy
Check-in is available from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Requests for early check-in or late check-out must be arranged with the property in advance, are subject to availability, and may incur additional charges.
Pets are not permitted inside guest rooms. Guests travelling with pets are encouraged to contact the property prior to arrival to discuss available options.
Smoking and incense use are strictly prohibited inside all buildings and guest rooms.
Guests are responsible for any costs, call-out fees, or charges resulting from the activation of the fire alarm system caused by smoking, excessive cooking smoke, misuse of appliances, or other guest actions. This may include charges from emergency services, fire alarm monitoring providers, and any related contractor or service fees.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the room, property, furnishings, or accommodation facilities caused during their stay.
Guests are responsible for any additional cleaning, repair, replacement, or other costs resulting from damage, excessive mess, or misuse caused during their stay.
While parking is provided for guests, vehicles and personal belongings remain the responsibility of the owner. Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended in vehicles.
