The Home was given the name Nui which in Maori means, Greatness, Predominant, Large, Considerable. Abundant.
This amazing, pet friendly home is great for families or groups to share. A fabulous layout with bbq on the deck, Wifi and dual heat pumps to keep upstairs and downstairs warm or cool. Breathtaking views of the ocean and mountain range.
The extensive lounge area has a 60'' tv, chromecast, stereo, cards and board games and opens onto a massive deck. The kitchen, with large bifold doors open onto the awesome deck with unrestricted ocean views. Great for alfresco dinning or relaxing while looking for whales. Each of the four large bedrooms have a 50'' tv with their own chromecast and king bed, In one bedroom the bed can be divided into two singles.
Two bedrooms have ensuites with showers and toilets. There is a single toilet upstairs and a shared shower and toilet downstairs with a laundry with modern washer and dryer. The carpeted double garage also has a Foosball table for rainy days.
There is a emergency kit if required.

Bookings will need to be secured with your cc details. Full payment will be required by check in date either by IB (internet banking) or CC (credit card). Please confirm how you wish to pay. If you are unable to secure with your cc details please see details below regarding deposit.
All credit card transactions incur a merchant bank fee of 3.1%
There are no transactions taken for your bond. as this is a non transactional method for securing against damage or excess cleaning.
Payment of deposit IB: Once we accept your booking a deposit must be paid AND received by us in order to secure the booking or your cc details. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt by us of the deposit. Failure to pay the deposit in time may result in your booking being cancelled and the property being made available to others. Should we cancel a booking of yours due to non or late payment of a deposit then any deposit received by us from you will be refunded in full. Your cc details can be used to secure your deposit/booking if preferred. Only bookings that are secured with cc details can be paid by IB by day of check in. If your booking is secured with a 30% deposit by IB full payment is required for your booking 14 days before check in.
If you are unable to secure your bond with your cc details we will require a IB refundable payment $250 3 days before check in. This will be refunded back after check out once the property is checked.
Late payments: The balance due must be received on or before its due date. If your payment fails to reach us by the due date we may choose to cancel your booking with or without notice to you, and make the property available to others. Cancellation charges apply (see below).
If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others.

Cancellation within 14 days of the scheduled start of stay results in a cancellation charge amounting to 50.0% of the total booking charge
Cancellation within 7 days of the scheduled start of stay results in a cancellation charge amounting to 100.0% of the total booking charge
Should WE cancel the booking due to YOUR NON-PAYMENT: Should any of your payments fail to reach us by their due date we have the right to cancel the booking with or without providing you with notice. Under these circumstances our standard cancellation charges apply.
Cancellation by Owner/Manager
If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for use, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your money in full.
Weekend rates and duration
All weekends are only two day bookings. Weekend starts Friday - Monday
Any one night booking incur a fee of $30 charge. Please contact KKHH before booking.
Midweek - one night or more
No Pets - unless by prior arrangement - any evidence of pets will incur a cleaning fee
Only maximum allowed guests as stated on booking. No camping or tents allowed.
If your booking is fully serviced with linen hire and a clean attached please leave rubbish at the house and this will be disposed of on your behalf. Excess waste will be charged back to guest.
If you have no cleaning service booked please take all rubbish away and dispose of at Innovative Waste Kaikoura, 80 Scarborough Street, Kaikoura. Any waste left behind will be charge a disposal fee. Please check with KKHH if you are uncertain
