Bendamere House is situated in a prime location in Kaikoura directly above the township and beach. We are also in close proximity to Whalewatch, Dolphin Encounter and the many other attractions Kaikoura has to offer our visitors. Superb walks to the Lookout, Peninsula and the seal colony, which is one of the most visited tourist meccas in New Zealand, making Bendamere House a unique secluded location to stay.
Property Facilities
Our surroundings are exquisite with lawns and gardens covering over 2230 square metres or half an acre and feature rose and flower gardens, shrubs and mature trees as well as our expansive lawns, where we provide lookouts and garden furniture for you to sit, relax and soak up the views while enjoying a bottle (or two) of wine.
General Room Facilities
All of our five quality rooms boast first class facilities with ensuites, king, and single beds, heat pumps, TV, fridge including complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
The Langman, Hampden and Fairweather rooms are located on the ground floor with the Hampden room providing full wheelchair access and facilities. The Hartnell and Harrington rooms are on the first floor and all of the five rooms open out to private balconies with unprecedented views of the Pacific Ocean and the Kaikoura ranges. The first floor views are elevated and the ground floors open out to the spacious lawns and gardens which feature over 100 rose bushes providing a spectacular sight. Garden furniture is provided for your relaxation whilst enjoying the spectacular scenery.

By road we are directly off State Highway 1 and once here we are a short walk down the path into the Kaikoura township. Whalewatch, Dolphin Encounter, Kaikoura i-site cen

Payment Policy
We require credit card details to confirm booking . Payment will be automatically taken off card provided through DPS function on the day of arrival.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your stay within 7 days of arrival, or do not show up on your booked day of arrival, we reserve the right to charge you 100% of your stay.
If you are unable to stay due to Covid Level 3 or 4 there will be no refund penalty or you are welcome to change booking to another date.
Child Policy
Bendamere House does not accommodate children under 14 years!
