Our spacious ground-floor studio rooms offer comfort, convenience, and thoughtful design—perfect for everyday living whether you’re here for work or leisure. Each studio features a luxurious super king-size bed, a well-appointed kitchenette, air-conditioning/heat pump, and double glazing to ensure a quiet, restful stay.

The kitchenettes come fully equipped with a twin cooktop, microwave, bar fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots, a fry pan, and a tea/coffee station, making these rooms ideal for both short and extended stays. Enjoy the flexibility to self-cater or explore local dining options at your leisure.

Every bathroom includes a shower-over-bath combination, toilet, vanity, bathroom heater, heated towel rail, and hairdryer for added comfort.

For entertainment, each studio features a 50" Samsung Smart TV with 50+ Sky channels and free Wi-Fi—perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

Step outside and relax at your own outdoor table and chairs, and enjoy the convenience of parking located directly in front of the room—everything you need is right at your door.

Upstairs Studio — Nightly

Beautifully appointed our compact upstairs studio rooms feature a queen and a single bed with air-conditioning/heat pump, double glazing, for your cosy and cooling needs, this makes these rooms perfect for all seasons.

With a stunning northern vista providing scenic mountain and garden views, there maybe time to have your first cuppa in bed whilst watching the sunrise.  These rooms are equipped with microwave oven, small fridge, toaster, cutlery and crockery as well as a kettle and tea/coffee station, they do not host a kitchen sink.  More suited to shorter stays or guests who are dining out more than in.

Your classically appointed fully tiled ensuite offers a shower, toilet, floating vanity, bathroom heater, heated mirror, hairdryer and heated towel rail.

A Samsung 43" Smart TV’s with 50+ Channel Sky TV and free WIFI round off the features of your compact upstairs studio room.

Please note rates are based on 2 person occupancy, 3rd person incurs an additional charge, and all guests must be registered with the booking.

We have only two (2) of these upstairs studio rooms and they both have a steep staircase for access with a solid handrail. It is recommended not suitable for guests with children under 3 years of age.

These rooms can be interconnected with the ground floor studio room directly below, however it is dependent on availability at the time of the booking and must be requested at the time of booking, rates are as per the two (2) rooms  and each room type.

Each over sized room has a fully equipped kitchenette for self-catering needs, dining space, super king beds with luxury mattress toppers, wardrobe and generous workspace for those corporate guests, also hosting spacious bathrooms with hairdryers and heated towel rails.

Occasional indoor chairs for TV watching, Sky Channels, whilst outdoors hosts an outdoor setting to enjoy the views and maybe a great Central Otago wine. Free WIFI to all rooms.

The room for the perfect "Getaway". Generous over sized air-conditioned rooms with an outdoor balcony and incredible mountain and garden views and a double corner spa bath to top things off.

This upstairs Executive Spa Studio has it all with a fully equipped kitchenette, super king bed with luxury mattress topper, air-conditioning and high ceilings to add to the luxury feel.

Workspace for corporates and occasional indoor chairs for TV watching or landscape viewing, plus an outdoor setting on your private balcony to enjoy a beautiful Central Otago wine

Discover the ideal space for families or groups of friends. Our one-bedroom family units offer generous room to relax, a convenient ground-floor location, and beautiful mountain and garden views. Parking is close by, making arrivals and departures effortless.

The light and spacious main living area (studio style) features a comfortable king bed, while the separate bedroom includes dual-aspect windows and two king single beds. Both rooms are equipped with individual air-conditioning/heat pumps, allowing you to customise the temperature to your preference.

Each unit includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a twin cooktop, microwave, bar fridge, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots, frypan, and tea/coffee station—perfect for both short visits and extended stays. Enjoy the convenience of self-catering or take advantage of the local dining options nearby.

For work or study, the main room offers a dedicated desk separate from the dining area, providing ample space to spread out. Entertainment is well covered with two Samsung Smart TVs: a 50” TV in the main room and a 32”/43” TV in the bedroom.

Our two family units feature fully renovated tiled bathrooms—one with a shower-over-bath and one with an easy-access shower. Each bathroom includes a floating vanity, over-height toilet, bathroom heater, heated towel rail, and heated mirror for added comfort.

These are our largest rooms, thoughtfully designed to ensure our guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their stay.

Apartment on Gair — Nightly

The Apartment on Gair offers a serene and generously sized two-bedroom unit located on the lower level, complete with beautiful garden access and inviting outdoor living areas.

The open-plan layout includes a well-appointed kitchenette, dining area, and living space with comfortable seating for up to five guests. Two large French doors open onto a covered veranda and lawn area, creating a seamless blend of indoor–outdoor living.

The kitchenette features a convection microwave, bar fridge, and tea/coffee facilities, while the outdoor BBQ provides additional self-catering options. A variety of restaurants and takeaway outlets are also located within a 10 - 15-minute walk.

The two bedrooms are positioned on opposite sides of the apartment, connected by a central hallway leading to the bathroom and main living area. One bedroom offers a luxurious king bed with French doors opening into the garden, while the second includes a queen bed plus a king single, both rooms with wardrobes, these rooms cater comfortably to a range of guest needs.

The bathroom includes a shower, toilet and vanity, as well as a bathroom heater, heated towel rail, and hair dryer—everything you need for a comfortable stay.

• Access is via an external garden stairs at the side of the apartment; guests must be able to navigate stairs.

All our spacious rooms feature large comfortable beds, heat-pumps (air-conditioning), Wi-Fi, 42" - 50" TVs with Sky Channels, including movies and sports channels.

Kitchenette facilities are provided in all but two rooms (these are the upstairs studios where a microwave and toaster are available). All rooms are fitted with fridges and all have bathrooms.

EXCEPTION TO THE STANDARD:
BOOKINGS WITH 7 OR 14 DAY CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT POLICIES:
Bookings made with 7 or 14 day cancellation and amendment policies will have funds deducted from the card provided any time 7 or 14 days prior to arrival, unless prior arrangements are made. If you have made a booking with a 7 or 14 day cancellation policy you are accepting that you understand this will occur.
If you would like to pay by direct bank transfer please get in touch with us to arrange prior to your cancellation day policy or your booking may be cancelled.

Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos and Cash are currently still accepted in NZ Dollars.

Check out is 10am on the day of departure.

STANDARD Cancellation and Amendment Policy: Please advise 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, cut off is 2pm (1400hrs). Cancelling within the 48 hours prior to arrival or not showing for your booking will see the credit card provided charged for the total stay.

PEAK PERIOD and EVENT WEEKEND Cancellation and Amendment Policy: We ask, with respect, that cancellations or amendments are advised no later than 7 days prior to 2pm on the date of arrival.  Cancelling within the 7 days prior to arrival or not showing for your booking will see the credit card provided charged for the total stay. 

Event weekends include but are not limited to: Cromwell January Car Show Weekend, Highlands Motorsports Park Race Weekends, Vehicle & Motorcycle Event weekends, Christmas and New Year’s period 23rd December - 10th January, Marathon and Sport Events, Horse Racing weekends and Golf Tournaments.

EASTER - Cancellation and Amendment Policy:  We ask, with respect, that cancellations or amendments are advised no later than 14 days prior to 2pm on the date of arrival.  Cancelling within the 14 days prior to arrival or not showing for your booking will see the credit card provided charged for the total stay.

VISITORS:
Visitors of our guests are permitted at the discretion of management. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all persons / visitors whilst on the property. Any deliberate or reckless acts that result in damage to our property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel, will be charged to the registered guest. For the comfort of all guests we kindly ask that all visitors vacate the property by 9.30pm.
