Below you can book a day visit to Llyn Gwynant campsite: to arrive and leave on the same day. You can park one car only on site and stay for the day. Dogs are not accepted for day visits so please do not bring any - if you have one you will have to leave as you cannot leave them in a vehicle while you are on site. Arrive after 9 am depart before 7 pm. Children and adults are charged the same but infants under 4 are free. You can use our facilities during your stay.
Availability is very limited and if Unavailable shows then unfortunately all visits have already been booked for the date selected. No drive-in visitors can be accepted. A £5 carpark fee and a £5 booking fee is added during the booking.

Llyn Gwynant campsite lies below Snowdon in the most beautiful valley in Wales. It is an ideal place for swimming and boat hire. You can simply enjoy natural beauty and quiet beside the lake or river.
Property Facilities
Day visitors park on the campsite and can use all facilities, swimming in the lake or hiring kayaks or canoes. Campsite facilities including Boat hire, toilets, hot showers and food outlets can all be used by our day visitors.

Natural fields and woodlands, with mountains above, overlooking a lake, with a shared beach area for all to enjoy.

Directions to Property
Taking a turn off the A498, just at the head of the lake (north end), beside our large green campsite sign. Large vehicles such as motorhomes can only access the entrance by taking a left hand turn heading north (up the hill), and so you may need to turn in the layby beside the lake.
The grid reference for the campsite is 648525. Note that a number of sat navs and on-line post code locators (such as MultiMap.com and StreetMap.co.uk) give incorrect locations for this postcode LL55 4NW and place the campsite at the wrong end of the lake! The Ordinance Survey map shows the campsite correctly at the north end of the lake.

Payment Policy

Cancellation Policy
Cancel more than 2 weeks before arrival to have your booking dates moved, less the £5 booking fee, refunded. We do not give refunds because of bad weather as this is out of our control.
Child Policy
The child rate applies to children aged 5 - 15 years who are with a family group, under 5's are free.
