Princes Wharf:
This complex was developed in the late 1990's on the original 1924 commercial wharf, the six shipping sheds have been redesigned and built to look like a liner.

The wharf is still a working wharf and although the overseas cruise terminal was relocated to Queens Wharf in 2013, occasionally a cruise liner still berths on the eastern side of Princes Wharf (especially in front of Sheds 19 and 20). Please check the public cruise schedule on https://www.poal.co.nz/operations/schedules/cruise for further information.

The wharf is now home to the Hilton Hotel, the Princes Wharf Apartments, some commercial offices and a variety of cafes, restaurants and bars.

This very spacious air conditioned two bedroom western apartment is superbly located at the end of Princes Wharf for you to take in and enjoy the Waitemata Harbour and the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The living area is open plan with comfotable seating in the lounge area and dining area for six people. Smart TV and Wifi included. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook.

Both the bedrooms have Queen beds and share the tiles bathroom that has a shower.

This apartment includes a secure carpark.

A starter pack of bathroom and kitchen condiments are included, fresh linen and towels, with the apartment being serviced weekly. No smoking or e-ciagrettes in the apartment.

There is an air-con/heat-pump in the lounge. If needed, adjust the temperature using the remote control. Please remember to turn it off when you leave to save on energy.

The Master suite is locked and not available to guests.

Nearest bus stop: Bus stops are along Quay Street, Lower Albert Street and Customs Street, depending on your destination. Fares are generally $3.50 each way payable to bus driver.

Car Parking: You are welcome to use the allocated parking (space 36) located on Floor 3 in Shed 24. To get there, enter the ramp between Shed 22 and Shed 23, swipe your parking card (different to the pedestrian access swipe card) and drive up two ramps as far as you can go, turn left and then immediately right to take you across the bridge to Shed 24. Your park is then the second on the right.

If additional parking is required, an economical option is to park in the Downtown carpark opposite Princes Wharf where you’ll pay $4.50/hour to a maximum of $40/day or just $2 per hour after 6pm week nights (or all-day weekends and holidays) to a maximum of $10.

Coffee and Food: Your nearest coffee fix is Burger Boy at the beginning of Princes Wharf which opens at 6am but if you have time, take a stroll around the Viaduct or to Wynyard Quarter where you’ll be spoilt for choice.

On the wharf, try some tasty seafood at The Crab Shack in a relaxed atmosphere where kids are welcome. Euro is one of the best Auckland fine dining restaurants, opens lunch and dinner and has stunning water views. Fish is the Hilton restaurant with equally amazing views and great food.

Further along the Viaduct and Wynyard Quarter there are many more eating options to choose from – far too many to list so enjoy what Auckland has to offer!

Supermarket: The nearest supermarket is New Word Metro at 125 Queen Street. There are also convenience stores in Albert Street, Britomart Place and in the ASB building over the footbridge but these tend to be pricier than the supermarkets.

House rules:

  • No smoking inside or on the balcony.

  • No parties in the apartment.

  • Neighbours must be respected (there are plenty of bars and pubs nearby to party in!)

You’re welcome to contact us any time if needed.
