Upmarket air conditioned apartment furnished with your comfort in mind. Enter into this apartment turn right and the spacious open plan living area will be everything you need to make yourself at home. The living area opens onto the private covered balcony which has views over the Marina and to the Devonport. Smart TV and Wifi are included. There is options for dining, outside, the six-seater dining table or the bar stools at the kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook.

The Master bedroom has a King bed, a walk in wardrobe and an ensuite which has a shower. The other two bedrooms have Queen beds and share a bathroom which has a shower.

The washing machine and drier are housed in a cupboard in the hallway.

A secure carpark comes with this apartment.

A starter pack of bathroom and kitchen condiments are included, fresh linen and towels, with the apartment being serviced weekly. No smoking or e-ciagrettes in the apartment.

To locate your apartment


  • The Lighter Quay complex is located at 79 to 89 Halsey Street. To locate your apartment from Halsey Street walk up the ramp and walk through the main brown gates onto the podium. The entrance to 87 is on your left. It is the second door you come to. Use the black key fob to enter the ground floor. Take the lift to level three. 3A is on your left. Use the key to enter the apartment.

 


To locate your car park


  • From Halsey St, take the down ramp at the left-hand side of the main entrance (signage that says “79 – 89) and use the black fob to open the iron grille garage door. Drive straight ahead toward the end wall. The car park is N21 just to the right against the back wall.

 


To locate your apartment from the car park area


  • Walk back towards the car park entrance. On your right-hand side, you will go past the first entrance (North 89) and go to the 2nd entrance (North 87) you will find a door just past the Waste Room – with North 87 on the glass door. Swipe your black fob to enter the door – the lift is around the corner to the right. Take the lift to level 3.

 


Notes


  • Rubbish is deposited in the chute – this is found behind the lift column – between the 3rd and 2nd floors

  • Recycling is placed in the bins in the Waste Room – found in the car park.

 


Music


  • The apartment is equipped with Sonos. If you don’t have the Sonos app on your phone, you can download it at the app store. There are three zones, Living room, Master bedroom and Master bathroom. You can play music in any or all zones. You must be on the wifi network to connect.

TV’s


     • The living room TV plays its audio through the surround sound system via the Integra amplifier. The Tivo remote will turn on the TV and should automatically turn on the amp to the TV setting for audio. Within the Tivo menu, you will find Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Prime Video, You Tube TV, regular You Tube and several other options.


     • You Tube TV gives access to US network TV channels. The Netflix subscription is US based so it can have a different set of shows and movies showing up.


     • If you want to watch NZ TV, use the Samsung remote, push the home button and you will find TVNZ where you can watch on demand shows or live TV. There is also Apple TV and ChromeCast so you can stream your own content.


     • If there is no audio, the amp may not have turned on and you can use the Integra remote to turn it on. Point it at the sensor to left of the TV screen and push TV for TV audio and CD for Sonos audio.


     • Master TV: This TV has Netflix and the ability to stream content to it.


  • Heating & AC: There are three zones for the heating and AC system: Living room and master bed are a single zone with two controllers, one above the desk and the other on the wall by the master closet.

They both control the same areas. Each of the back bedrooms are controlled independently and the controllers are on the wall.


  • Master Blinds: These are controlled by the white remote on the bedside.

  • There are USB ports by each bedside and also on the post in the island.

  • Electric standing desk: Feel free to use this, it will adjust to whatever height you are comfortable with.

The monitor is available to use as well.


  • Vacuum cleaner is in the laundry cupboard on the left.

  • There is a fold away clothes rack for drying things you don’t want in the dryer. It is in the closet in bedroom 2. It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishdrawer. Please, wash dishes before check-out.

 


  • NO SMOKING. This is a non-smoking apartment.

  • Cleaning is done weekly on the anniversary of your arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc are replenished.  Both the bathroom(s) and kitchen are cleaned, but we do not wash any dirty dishes. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed and/or washed. Balconies and courtyards are swept/washed and windows where accessible are cleaned. Please remove your rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex.  Should you leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be charged a departure surcharge. Please contact our office 24 hours prior to service should you wish to amend your housekeeping schedule. But should the cleaners arrive and for any reasons are turned away, a surcharge will apply unfortunately, as our cleaners are not based on site.

 


  • Please be aware that Lighter Quay is a residential complex and respect your neighbours with regard to noise. Should the security guard be called to your apartment due to a complaint then you will be liable for this call out fee. We also have the right to evict due to breaking of body corp rules.

 


Departure


  • CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done and put away in the cupboards and take all your rubbish down to the bins in the garage.

  • Should the apartment left in an excessive messy condition, an extra cleaning charge will occur.

  • Please leave keys on the kitchen bench with the apartment. Ensure the door is locked. If you have a vehicle parked in the garage, please MAKE SURE to drive out your car first (because you need the key to access the garage), then one person can go back to the apartment and place the key on the kitchen bench.

  • If keys are not left in the apartment, a lock replacement charge of $150 will occur

 


 


Electricity


Included within your tenancy are the following: gas, water & power: Electricity, to the value of $150.00 per month. Water to the value of $100.00 per month. Any excess to the above amounts will be charged against your credit card or invoiced to the tenant. Stays for less than a month will have charges prorated to a daily amount and then shared over then calculated/charge according to the length of stay.

Payment Policy

To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.
