This house sized air conditioned apartment has three bedrooms,two bathrooms, a media room and two big balconies. This apartment is newly built offering you accommodation with current modern decor trends. The open plan living has been tastefully furnished with seating for six people in the lounge and dining areas. This area flows out to the large balcony which looks out over the Wynyard Quarter. The living area does include a Smart TV. You are spoil for choice with this apartment also having a separate media room. Wifi included. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to cook.

Included with this apartment is a secure tandem(one in front of each other) car park which fits two cars.

A starter pack of bathroom and kitchen condiments are included, fresh linen and towels, with the apartment being serviced weekly. No smoking or e-ciagrettes in the apartment.

For your information, please note the following instructions (full instruction is inside of the apartment):


To enter the apartment building by car on Madden Street, between cross streets Daldy and Beaumont


  • The entrance to the carpark is off Madden Street, if driving east-to-west (away from the CBD) the driveway lane is on your left, between the completed townhouses and the new construction.

  • Drive between the townhouses and new construction and the carpark entrance is on your left. Use the carpark remote to open the garage door – top left button. Drive in and turn right. The car parks are at the south east end of the building, just to the left of the last set of pillars (see map). The two car parts are “tandem”, one in front of the other (the front car park is accessible only by driving through the front car park).

  • As you exit your carpark on foot, the access door to the lift lobby is back towards the north end of the car park area, on the east wall. Please note the rubbish room is on the east side and you will pass it as you approach the access door to the elevator lobby. There is also a rubbish chute accessible from the 4th floor – instructions below.

  • Use your swipe to enter the lift lobby, and to use the elevator. Take the elevator to level 4.

  • Exit the elevator and your apartment 408 at the end of the corridor as you turn right out of the lift area. Use the key on your set to open the door – the key turns counter clockwise to open the door (clockwise to lock it from the outside).

  • To exit the carpark, follow the arrows in a counter clockwise direction, towards the garage door, pause and use the carpark remote to open the garage door – top left button again.

 


To enter the apartment building by foot


  • The pedestrian entrance for the apartment is off Daldy Street. Use the swipe on your set of keys to open the front door (there are two sets of sliding glass doors). Then use the swipe to take the elevator to the fourth floor.

 


Blinds


Guests should aware of the motorized blinds on MOST of the windows, and that should not enter the balcony spaces before raising the blinds.  That is going around them and pushing them aside will damage them. 


Also, when the balcony doors are open the blinds should be in the raised position - otherwise they will blow around in the breeze and again potentially be damaged.


 


Cleaning


  • Cleaning Weekly Servicing is done on the anniversary of the day of your arrival, the cleaners have their own access keys and will be there after 10am. Beds are remade with freshly laundered/ironed linen, towels etc. are replenished. The bathroom is cleaned and the kitchen is given a wipe down. The apartment is dusted and floors vacuumed and/or washed. The balcony is swept/washed and windows where accessible are cleaned. We do not wash your dishes as there is a dishwashers for this purpose. Please remove your rubbish daily to the dedicated areas within the complex. Should you leave the apartment in an excessively dirty state you will be charged a departure surcharge.

  • Please note that the housekeeping teams are not based on site and should you turn them away when they arrive, a return surcharge of $65 will then apply. However if you do wish to amend your housekeeping day please send us an email the day before and we will confirm the change.

 


Access to rooftop garden


  • The rooftop garden is available for the QUIET enjoyment of residents and tenants – please respect others by keeping noise to a minimum, and respect the privacy of apartments which border the gardens.

  • Access on the 3rd floor, via a door to the left of the elevator as you exit the elevator. The 3rd floor elevator lobby is also accessible via the fire escape stairs which are beside/behind the elevators (enter to the left of the elevators when facing the elevators).

  • You do not need an access card to enter the rooftop garden, but you do need your access card to re-enter the building.

 


Additional information for your apartment


  • NO SMOKING inside the apartment please or anywhere within the complex.

  • It is recommended that dishwasher powder be used in the Dishwasher. Please wash dishes before checkout.

  • The laundry is in the cupboard in the main bathroom.

  • There is underfloor heating in the bathroom. If you do turn this on, please ensure it’s turned off at the end of your stay.

  • The instructions for all appliances are in a container in the a closet in the Media Room – beside the hot water heater closet (2nd from the left of the door).

  • Please be aware that Wynyard Central is a residential complex and respect your neighbours with regard to noise. Should the security guard be called to your apartment due to a complaint then you will be liable for this call out fee. We also have the right to evict due to breaking of body corporate rules.

 


Departure


  • CHECKOUT TIME IS 10 AM, please ensure all the dishes have been done and put away in the cupboards and take all your rubbish down to the bins in the garage.

  • Should the apartment left in an excessive messy condition, an extra cleaning charge will occur.

  • Please leave keys on the kitchen bench with the apartment. Ensure the door is locked. If you have a vehicle parked in the garage, please MAKE SURE to drive out your car first (because you need the key to access the garage), then one person can go back to the apartment and place the key on the kitchen bench.

  • If keys are not left in the apartment, a lock replacement charge of $150 will occur

 


Fire Evacuation Plan & Smoke Detectors


  • Please ensure that you know where the exit stairs are in relation to your apartment. Ambulance/Fire/Police: DIAL 111

  • There are instructions on the back of the entrance door to the apartment regarding what to do in the event of fire, as well as when the smoke detector activates. If the smoke detector activates and there is no apparent cause there is a button by the entrance door (to the left as you look to leave the apartment) that allows you to silence the alarm – see photo above in Figure 3.

Payment Policy

To confirm reservations the applicable tariff shall be paid in advance at the time of booking. The booking is not confirmed until a credit card has been lodged for security and the rent received. Should the booking period be longer than one month, payments can be paid monthly in advance upon agreement between the two parties. Payments made by credit card are subject to a bank surcharge of 3%.
All prices are quoted are in NZ dollars.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 30 days prior to arrival full refund.
Cancellation 7 days prior to arrival (2pm local time) 50% refund.
Cancellation less than 7 days in advance,no refund.
If you arrive and decide to leave early, the nights not used are not refundable.
