Your Dunedin ocean view motel accommodation, Esplanade Motels are situated on Dunedin’s esplanade, just minutes from the city centre. Overlooking St Clair’s sweeping surf beach, we offer apartment accommodation with one and two bedroom units, sleeping one to seven people. Our 4 one bedroom apartments lead onto private balconies overlooking the million dollar beach views , whilst the Heritage Character House offer 3 two-bedroom apartments ideal for groups or families, one with a partial ocean view.

Payment Policy

At the time of making a reservation your credit card details will be required to secure the booking in regard to our cancellation policy. Payment will be taken prior to arrival on the day of check in with the credit card used when the reservation was made.
A credit card must be provided to cover all charges that may be made against the room and any possible damages caused by misuse or carelessness.

CHECK IN and OUT: We now have a self check in system as reception may be closed on your arrival. A pin code will be sent via mobile phone or email with all check in information on the morning of your arrival.
Check in time is from 2pm, and guests can self check in.

Check out time is before 10am . Variations outside these times must be arranged with reception prior to the day of arrival or departure so that staffing arrangements can be made.

We are happy to store your luggage.

All our rooms, balconies and indoor guest areas are strictly non smoking. Smoking is permitted in an around our outdoor areas. PLEASE dispose of any smoke butts in pots provided.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, reduction of stay length should also be made 48 hours prior to the date of any change, otherwise a cancellation fee equivalent to the first nights stay may be charged against the card used to secure the booking.

Please note that the bookings are only valid for the dates as booked and for the number of people indicated. We reserve the right to have minimum periods of stay and a maximum number of people in our rooms.
