Interconnecting Room — Nightly
This is a spa studio and standard studio with an interconnecting door in between. This gives you a king size bed in one room and a Queen and single in the other, with the ability to add an extra bed into either room (maximum number of guests = 6). This also gives you two bathrooms and 2 kitchenettes, one with cooking facilities.

We have 16 units set in very private and spacious grounds. Only 3 minutes drive to Upper Hutt City, 15 minutes from Lower Hutt and 25 minutes from Wellington City and interisland Ferry Terminals.
Our unique native bush setting and clean and comfortable facilities make for a pleasant stay. We were awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in October 2017.
Guest laundry provided. Very quiet and situated well away from the street which makes it very safe for children to play outside.
General Room Facilities
All rooms have beautiful views of the surrounding bush and gardens. All have microwaves, tea, coffee and basic breakfast making facilities and 4 rooms have hot plates and an electric frying pan.
On-site car parking with plenty of additional parks if you are travelling in more than one vehicle. There are also facilities for boats, trailers and small trucks.

7.30am - 9.00pm weekdays and 8.00am - 9.00pm weekend and public holidays. Late check in by arrangement.
Directions to Property
Follow SH2 to the lights at Wallaceville turnoff. Enter Whakatiki Street from the lights and drive to end of street. Go right at the roundabout and then left at next roundabout into Ward Street. Then drive to end of street and turn left and then a quick right up Wallaceville Road. We are a short drive up the hill on the left.
Walking distance to Wallaceville Train station where you can park and take the train to Wellington or Lower. We are ideally positioned as an interisland ferry stopover if you are travelling on SH2.
Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on arrival (if not already done so). Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time.

All children are welcome.
Pets are not allowed in the rooms but ok if kept in the car.
Groups – When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply.
We require 48 hours notice prior to the date of arrival for all individual reservations or a cancellation fee of one night’s accommodation will be charged. Special Events – 7 days notice.
A cancellation “No Show” or amendment to a reservation (or existing stay) advised outside the above time frame, will result in a “Cancellation Fee” charged equivalent to one night’s accommodation.
We reserve the right to accept reservations subject to a minimum stay over peak periods.
A request to reduce the length of stay on an existing reservation may result in the reservation no longer being accepted or the rate changed.
Any refund will only be made via the media used to make the reservation.
The whole of the interior of the Motor lodge, including guest rooms and apartments, is designated “Smoke Free”. If you smoke or burn incense in your room you will incur a charge for the appropriate loss of income, as well as the additional cleaning costs required to make this room available for re-use.
Guests must accept full responsibility for any charges incurred for this room during their stay. Guests are liable for payment of any damage to the room or property both maliciously or accidentally.
Check In Policy
Check In time is 2pm on day of arrival and Check out is prior to 10am on day of departure.Early Check In and/or Checkout is by arrangement only. Please take note of office hours if you intend to leave early, as it may be appropriate to check out the night before.
