The elevated position overlooks the North Coast, the beautiful Bays and the Kaikoura mountains. Dolphins and whales are often seen in the Bay from the deck and second floor.
This lovely modern home is a great place for families and friends.

Home is situated down a shared driveway so please be careful when exiting the home as it is right by the driveway.
Plenty of off street parking behind the house. Plus parking for a smaller boat. Access to one garage for parking.

Path to beach very close to home. 15 minute walk to main town, 5 minute drive.

Kaikoura Holiday Homes will send you an email approx one week prior to your arrival confirming address and location of the lockbox and code which holds the house keys.
A couple of metres from the house is a track that will take you onto the railway line, into the paddock and onto the beach.
All our homes are smoke-free inside. If smoking outside please be considerate of neighbours and those surrounding you.

Bookings will need to be secured with your cc details. Full payment will be required by check in date either by IB (internet banking) or CC (credit card). Please confirm how you wish to pay. If you are unable to secure with your cc details please see details below regarding deposit.
All credit card transactions incur a merchant bank fee of 3.1%
There are no transactions taken for your bond. as this is a non transactional method for securing against damage or excess cleaning.
Payment of deposit IB: Once we accept your booking a deposit must be paid AND received by us in order to secure the booking or your cc details. Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt by us of the deposit. Failure to pay the deposit in time may result in your booking being cancelled and the property being made available to others. Should we cancel a booking of yours due to non or late payment of a deposit then any deposit received by us from you will be refunded in full. Your cc details can be used to secure your deposit/booking if preferred. Only bookings that are secured with cc details can be paid by IB by day of check in. If your booking is secured with a 30% deposit by IB full payment is required for your booking 14 days before check in.
If you are unable to secure your bond with your cc details we will require a IB refundable payment $250 3 days before check in. This will be refunded back after check out once the property is checked.
Late payments: The balance due must be received on or before its due date. If your payment fails to reach us by the due date we may choose to cancel your booking with or without notice to you, and make the property available to others. Cancellation charges apply (see below).
If you need to cancel a booking please let us know as soon as possible so we may offer the property to others.

Cancellation within 14 days of the scheduled start of stay results in a cancellation charge amounting to 50.0% of the total booking charge
Cancellation within 7 days of the scheduled start of stay results in a cancellation charge amounting to 100.0% of the total booking charge
Should WE cancel the booking due to YOUR NON-PAYMENT: Should any of your payments fail to reach us by their due date we have the right to cancel the booking with or without providing you with notice. Under these circumstances our standard cancellation charges apply.
Cancellation by Owner/Manager
If, due to circumstances beyond our control, the property becomes unavailable or unfit for use, we will notify you as soon as possible and refund your money in full.
Pets - If the home is advertised as a 'pet friendly' then pets are welcome. Otherwise no pets are allowed. We reserve the right to charge guests a fee if evidence and/or damage from pets is detected.
Only maximum allowed guests as stated on booking. No camping or tents allowed.
If your booking is fully serviced with linen hire and a clean attached please leave rubbish at the house and this will be disposed of on your behalf. Excess waste will be charged back to guest.
If you have no cleaning service booked please take all rubbish away and dispose of at Innovative Waste Kaikoura, 80 Scarborough Street, Kaikoura. Any waste left behind will be charge a disposal fee. Please check with KKHH if you are uncertain
Child friendly but please be careful of the front door as it is a shared driveway. Cot available for hire. 2 and unders are free. Please also be aware that the property has stairs.
Check In Policy
Self Check in. Check-in is from 2.00pm and Check-out 10.00am. Kaikoura Holiday Homes will send you an email approx. 5 days prior to your arrival giving you details of how to access the home. If you require different check-in / check-out times we are happy to accommodate if possible, so please contact us. Please return house keys to where you got them from.
